Both take a site from the map to a letter to its owner. LandHunt leads with AI planning appraisals, credit-based plans from £49 a month and an iOS field app. Landicia is one £149 monthly plan built around register discovery, title research and owner outreach, set up with you on your own area.

Which one fits
LandHunt is probably the better choice if
- You want to start for less than £149. Their Starter plan is £49.
- You want the software to score planning odds and draft an appraisal with GDV and residual land value.
- Some of your sites are in Wales.
- You walk sites and want an iPhone app with parcel boundaries overlaid on the camera.
- You would rather try it for three days than sit through a demo.
Landicia is probably the better choice if
- You would rather pay one flat price than keep track of credits.
- Most of your time goes on the owner: title research, the letter and the six weeks of follow-up after it.
- You want someone to set the product up on your own area with you before you rely on it.
- You post letters every month and want ten of them included.

Both find sites, show ownership and planning, post letters and keep a pipeline. The differences are in how you pay, how much of the planning judgement the software makes for you, and whether you work in Wales. We have not tested LandHunt's approval scores against decided applications, so we can't say how reliable they are.
What to check before you choose
- What a LandHunt credit buys, and how many you would use in a normal month.
- How each tool gets you the title register, and what it costs per title.
- The real cost of a posted letter on each, including any you get included.
- Whether you would act on an AI planning score, or check the history yourself anyway.
If you have read LandHunt's version
LandHunt's own comparison, last updated June 2026, lists Landicia at £49.99 to set up and £99 a month, covering the whole UK, with application-only onboarding. That was our founder pricing earlier in 2026, and it ended in August. Today Landicia is £149 a month with no setup fee, it covers England, and anyone can start the plan or book a demo without applying. The current figures are on our pricing page.
